Taking Brand Info On The Road

Jeff Miller is taking marketing to the streets.
As founder and president of HardyHarris
Media + Marketing,
Miller focuses on a niche he calls mobile marketing. He uses
a product called Brandstand to help clients transport their
products and services to street festivals, ball games and
other events. The Brandstand is a portable booth that can serve
as
a bar or kitchen, a station for watching TVs or a countertop
with computers connected to the Internet.
How do you use a Brandstand?
Companies and marketing agencies
use Brandstand at events, fairs, festivals, trade shows, sporting
venues and more to
feature and promote a company's brands, products and services
while providing interaction with fans and event attendees.
Companies are using Brandstand to capture valuable marketing
information from prospective customers using onboard touch-screen
kiosks. Whether it's product demonstrations, beverage sampling
or community outreach, all companies can benefit from an event-based
lead-generation campaign.
Why do you focus your services on mobile marketing?
Technology
is changing the way companies use marketing to reach audiences.
The shift in advertising dollars away from
traditional media - such as radio, television, newspapers,
etc. - has created new online and offline opportunities to
reach customers. Mobile and event marketing campaigns are a
way advertisers can have a direct, personal connection with
audiences.
What's your outlook for your business in the new year?
Mobile
and event marketing in general is expected to grow significantly
in 2012. Brandstand is positioned well to continue
the growth we have experienced over the last several years.
